About Us
Z-SISTEM Aviation and Informatics Industry Limited Company was founded in Ankara in 2002 to operate in the field of information technologies. From 2012 onwards, foreseeing that unmanned aerial systems and autonomous technologies would be among the critical technologies of the future, it directed its R&D activities to this field and began developing original air platforms and mission systems with its own resources and engineering capabilities.
With the knowledge and engineering experience it has gained since its foundation, Z-SISTEM operates in the design, development and production of unmanned aerial vehicles, mission systems, launch systems and critical subcomponents. It carries out all its work with a high domestic content ratio, an engineering-focused approach and a vision of sustainable technology development.
UCANKAYA-20, one of the first platforms in Türkiye's small UAV category with a fully original aerodynamic design, was developed by Z-SISTEM as an integrated system together with its mechanical, electronic and embedded software components.
As operational needs evolved, the HBR-30 VTOL UAV System with vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) capability was developed on the basis of the UCANKAYA-20 platform, and production activities continue within the Technology Development Zone.
In addition to fixed-wing platforms, Z-SISTEM also works on rotary-wing systems and continues its work in unmanned helicopter technologies with the TARKOPTER project developed for agricultural applications.
Carrying the engineering capability it has gained in unmanned systems over to different platforms, Z-SISTEM also develops original solutions for high-energy launch systems. The Bamsı High-Energy Launcher developed in this context has taken its place in the product portfolio as a high-performance launch system that enables different platforms to be prepared for missions safely, quickly and repeatably.
In addition to the air platforms it develops, Z-SISTEM also designs and produces in-house the critical subsystems used on these platforms. This ensures full compatibility between systems, high reliability and sustainable logistics support.
